I tried to pay special attention to the music played in the store. It’s mind-boggling. “Take my breath away,” and then “Blackbird.”

In the last couple of days, I’ve been humming the darling, genuine songs of Jaymay, a New York based anti-folk songstress. She has a really fantastic voice which she uses effectively to create really distinctive moods in her songs that really pull you in.
Jaymay is playing the Bowery Ballroom in New York on June 10.
